Do any of you have hobbies? We went to a bbq at friends house the other week and men were saying how they needed time out and to have a hobby, us ladies then started talking and realised we don't really have a hobby either. I read a lot, but is that a proper hobby, i kind of think of it as standard day activity.

I'd love to be able to sew or bake cakes nicely but i'm not very good at either and don't have the patience.

I don't have a hobby... unless shopping counts :/

I like baking but I don't do it regularly just when I need a cake lol.

I don't have a hobby either. I really would like one. I also read a lot but am the same as you and don't see it as a hobby as such. It would be nice to have a hobby but what.... Hmm...

Have you any idea what you would like to do?

Not too sure. What hobbies are there? lol

Like i said haven't really got the patience for sewing or baking. I'm not too good at drawing. I do write but again don't say it's a hobby.

I think reading is a hobby because lots of people don't read at all. I tend to spend most of my time on the computer now but used to read constantly and also used to knit (although I can only do a straight line so people got lots of scarves!) and cross stitch

Lol liberty I can also only knit in a straight line! I can cross stitch but never really want to as such.

Hmm I'm still thinking. I love baking but I hate the mess...

Why did your gym make you cancel? Mine let you keep going although I had to freeze my membership because I wasn't allowed to exercise

I used to cross stitch, make cards. But now have arthritis in my hands so can't do delicate detail anymore :-(

I used to love to draw, but just can't, although thinking of doing some pics fr the kids rooms.

I used to go and watch football all the time because I had a season ticket at Anfield but I've had to give that up since having the kids Sad We've even cancelled sky sports now because I never got to chance to watch a whole match so it was a waste of money! I'm sure men don't have to give up stuff like women do !

As most of you know my hobby was/is sewing and creating, so much so its now turned into my job. I honestly didn't think it'd take off like it has Shocked Very Happy

I envy you Shell with your reading, I wish I could get into the right frame of mind to sit and read and get lost in a book. I love reading. I'm hoping when I shut up shop for my maternity i'll be joining your book club. I cant wait Very Happy

I love baking too but HATE the washing up after Rolling Eyes

Chris plays a lot of Xbox but he's getting right into these action packed wotsits that blokes do..go karting, dirt buggy racing, paint balling etc

nothing "hobbyish" really appeals to me anyway, not enough to want to do it all the time, I'm not creative at all... well I have an imagination but I don't have the skill to actually do it, my drawing is rubbish (even my handwriting is bad) so drawing and making things is just a bit of a no go area.
