Need an excuse!
Feel awful as my friend is having a coffee morning for macmillans (she has breast cancer) on Saturday but I have loads to do this weekend and to be honest I hate this type of thing.
Anyway me been the knob that I am didn't read the invitation properly and thought it was last Saturday so last Saturday I text and said I was really sorry but full of cold and wouldn't be able to come. My friend text back saying I was donut and it was next week so I can't say I'm sick again can I?
She's one of my oldest bestest friends so happy to make a donation.
So what do I do? Go or think of another excuse?
I know this makes me look really bad but Saturday's are so busy with kids and oh etc.

Hmmm tough one, I think you've used your get out of it card a week early lol, can you be honest and say you thought it was last week and that you have plans but you are happy to make a donation?

If it was me I would pop in and just stay half an hour, I couldn't not go but thats just cos Macmillan is important to me and my family, I was gonna have a coffee morning too but its too close to the due date lol.
Could you go for like 20 mins and then say you've got to be somewhere with the kids or something? xx

I totally get how important it is and on the invite it says I can donate without going.
Suppose I'll have to go though :-/
