Our Back Garden So Far....
Well we are currently renting but the garden has NEVER been upto scratch at all! I have never really had time with the kids to clear out the garden we had, the previous owner left it in such a state and the most we would do to it was to use the lawn mower and that was it!
When Alan was off for two weeks in July this year we decided to make a start on the grassy and concrete area!
See below a few photos from the work we have done! This was the garden before:

Now on the outside of that lawn where the blocks are was bushes and shrubbery (Which Alan and his mate pulled out in the first week of his holidays - I would of helped but I was poorly, full of cold)
Then we paid for a digger for hire:

Once the digger had left this is what the end result, which isn't bad for £100

This is all the crap we managed to pull out of the garden and put it to one side, we were going to hire a skip but for £250 for a few days, is an expense we cannot afford, so we are currently burning bits by bits!

I have also been out to B&Q to buy a tin of fence paint for the fence as it was looking shabby!
The left handside is the paint I bought and the right handside is the one i'm covering up:

Alan had fun taking the pee outta me and took a photo of me painting and stuck it up on Facebook! Git that he is! I had no idea until about 3 hours later grrrr

Then we went out and bought 8 metres by 6 metres of Garden Turf and then me and Alan laid it down ourselves, baring in mind it's the first time I have ever done owt like this before:

****The brown decking boards you see down the side are going to be put around the outside of the grass area****
This is even a photo with our trampoline put back down the garden, but now we have done all that for a total cost of £250 the trampoline looks tiny, it used to fill up the whole of the bottom of the garden, so now I'm looking into buying a swing and slide set from Smythe's Toys for the kids!

We were going to be decking out the concrete but instead we have covered it with astro turf instead and just purhcased a summer house to go on top of it.
Will post more photos once it's all done! We gotta have it all finished and done before the week commencing monday 15th october in time for my party on sat 20th

I know tell me about it What Summer??? Which kind of beats the object of having one, but Alan is going to be putting heating into it and proper flooring down inside, so come the winter when we have the snow we can nip out with hot mugs of hot chocolate and watch the snow fall and just cuddle up!
