Anyone watch it on the news last night. I've always followed this and prayed for justice. I sat and cried last night. I hope every single one of those people who lied to cover up their mistakes is punished. This is very close to me as Liverpool is so close to us and we all knew people who were there and unfortunately lost their lives.

It is injustice at its worst ... I remember the film on it and they said back then it was down to the police shame its taken so long to come to light ... I hope it is not going to be dragged out in the press though for the sake of those who lost loved ones

I always thought that it was covered up. The police were in charge and should have managed it better. You could always see there were two pens that were basically empty. I never could understand how some of them could just stand there and watch people dying.

I guess at least the world knows the victims aren't to blame now which is what the families always wanted

It's been a weird atmosphere in the city these past few days. anger/sadness/relief! I just hope those 96 can now rest in peace

I'm still an emotional wreck about it all to be honest. I'm very lucky that I didn't lose my brother there. He was at the front of the pen and they managed to get the gate open to get out but the police pushed them back in we've known the truth for a long time and I'm so glad that it is finally out but I'm also shocked that it is much worse than I'd imagined. Doing PNC checks on the dead to discredit them and doing blood alcohol levels on a 10 year old boy is disgusting! Also the fact that so many could have been saved. I think that the families are so so brave, I go to the memorial service every year so have listened to their campaign for all those years, I hope they get justice now x

That's awful. I knew you'd said your brother was there but I didn't realise he was actually in one of those pens. It must have been tough on him. I would think survivor guilt is an awful thing to deal with

I think he's just pushed it to the back of his mind for years and never talked about it apart from when he had to give evidence at the inquest, but this week it's all built up and come out and he's been a wreck

That's no surprise with everything that's happened this week. Hopefully he can start dealing with it now though
