Help with taking a bottle
Has anyone had an experience with introducing a bottle to a breast fed baby?
I want Lily to take a bottle so that if needed I can leave her with family and her still be able to eat. I've been using the tommeetippee breast pump and close to nature bottles an teats but she doesn't seem to be impressed at all and won't take the bottle.
I just wondered if anyone had any tips to help us get her to take it?

We were lucky because Jamie took anything we put in his mouth. Have you tried being out of the room when she's given it?

I have but I've just read that baby can smell me from 20foot away so I'm going to see if she will take it when I'm out the house. If that doesn't work ill have to look at different bottles/teats etc

Do you think that rubbing some breast milk on the teat might help with the smell thing?

Not sure, when you tip the bottle milk comes out anyway so in theory she should be ok with it. She tastes the milk but doesnt start to suck
