My bro (Warning: very sad post)

Is having atime of it at the mo. His friend died four months ago of cancer after having fought off once and then came back,leaving behind his wife and 14 yr old child.

Well, mubro and sil helped them through all that time and took it hard, being that it was a very close friend to them, the wife being my sil's best friend.

In the last two weeks, the wife died too, not sure of circumstances, but leaving behind her 14 year old son.

So a big shock for all. But also, my bro and sil agreed to be guardians so they soon will have a 14 year old living with them too.

Just cannot imagine what is going on for that 14 year old and also the adjustments him and all are going to need to make.

Havent phoned as didnt want to get in the way so have written a card to them letting them know i love them and that i am around for them whenever.

Just a really tough heartbreaking situation.

Oh gosh what a sad situation for all for them!
Doesn't bare thinking about loosing both parents at such a young age! I'm sure your brother and sil will do all they can for the child.

Oh that's so tragic, the poor lad! I'm sure your brother will know u are there for him and he'll do a fine job bringing up the wee boy. Life is so shit sometimes

Oh no how awful for the poor kid losing both his parents. 14 is such a tricky age. Your brother is great agreeing to be his guardian really hope it works out well for them all xxxx
