I'm excited
Weve decided when we move it's our home, and I'm going to spend the next yr buying things for our home.
We need cheap wardrobes straightaway, but then next yr, when I'm back working we going to buy nice new furniture and new items, rugs pictures etc.
Just been looking through some magazines and I'm excited.
Dining room is first. We going to need a bigger table than we have now and our friends want to come for dinner parties etc, so we need bigger table and more chairs lol
Sorry if making no sense, but I've not felt at home in this house, it's just been wrong :-(
The 1st October is moving day and I can't wait :-D

Ah that is exciting! I wish we could sell our flat and move (although I'm dreading moving and would just like to click my fingers and be there). I remember when we got a tax rebate and replaced all the furniture we'd been given second hand when we got married. It made it feel much more like home

Thanks, we rent and just got lucky with this new place. But we've moved a lot and now need to settle to get rich through secondary school :-) and save to buy our own place

It's nice to buy new furniture for your house, when I bought this house it came furnished and so we've been slowly replacing with new and it's starting to feel more like our home now.

Another thing I'll be pleased about his doors to shut. Separate dining room so I can shut the door so no cats and russ is looking forward to shutting the spare bedroom door which will be the study so a certain little boy can't pull cables out lol which is his new trick
