First day at work in 18 months

and I'm so excited! It will be quite a long day 9-6, and mostly on my feet (in a shop), but looking forward to the change. Also hoping working a few hours a week will lose me the stone I have put since being a SAHM.

Has anyone else found being at home makes them put on weight? I definitely boredom eat

I put weight on whist working - tea and toast - tea and biccies - lunch - afternoon cake. Honestly we never stop

I had a training afternoon last week. Where basically I tried on clothes for the whole afternoon, so I don't count that! Tomorrow is my first proper shift. I know one of the ladies who works there from school, she is lovely, so that has helped x

I actually put it on while I was working cos I would eat take out for lunch marks and sparks are too yummy

And yeah I put on weight at work too, something about the need to drown out the crap with choc

I hope I don't get shot to hell with this....

I eat like a horse and put nowt on, I can eat cake, crisps, sweeties - all complete utter rubbish! I drink lager and spirits and put nowt on! It's all to do with the fact I have a quick metabolism, The only time I actually gain any weight - is on my bum and hips when I was pregnant with all three children but once they were born then I went back to my size 6/8 pre-pregnancy figure....To which I must say it puts me down and I get darn upset about it all the time...

Oh Nikki, I am jealous! It doesn't take much for me to gain weight. Even though I eat loads when I'm working the routine seems to help me keep the weight off, and that was with a desk job before. I'm hoping the fact I have been on my feet all day will help even more...

Really enjoyed my day thank you, dragged a little late afternoon, but usually I will only be working 4 hours. So lovely to see my girlies when I finished too
