Freeview/sky etc
We only have free view but oh keeps hinting at getting sky or something so that we can record things.

We have Sky + HD
I love being able to record stuff while I am in work, although we do have about a million Peppa Pigs recorded

Sky+, when we had the whole package plus phone and broadband it cost around £90 per month, that included multi room as well.
We have got rid of some options for now but there's still loads to watch

We just have free view ATM, we used to have Sky but got rid of it when we moved. Don't miss it, just occasionally would be handy to record something. Particularly if there is a good kids film on x

We have Virgin. We hate them because their customer service has always been awful

If I were you I would stick to the free view or go to free sat. We have sky and its far to expensive. Over £90 every month. That's not even a full package. My sister cancelled her sky and the phoned her up and offered it back to her for £40.

Isnt there a new freeview box now were you can record things and watch on demand, we pay £80 a month for our Virgin which is quite expensive. It does depend on what yo want.

I have virgin and love it! Have had it for 5 years Nd only ever had a problem once and they dealt with it next day. Used to have sky when I lived with my mum and were forever having problems! Advantage of virgin over sky is that you don't own the equipment so if anything goes wrong they repair or replace for free if you have sky you own it so you pay for it when things so wrong!
If you want it purely for the recording function you can get freeeview boxes with hard disks built in for a reasonable price. Would work out far cheaper in the long run!

You don't have to pay that much for Virgin or Sky. We have the phone line with some free calls, broadband, a large package and sky sports and pay less than £60 a month (actually its just crept up again). You just need to call and ask them to put it down and point out it would be cheaper for you to move to the other one if they don't

We have sky+ with phone/broadband. It's £40 a month basic package, we're looking at upgrading for extra £5. I never really wanted it but matt really did and it is handy having the option to record series. I record loads of films.

We have sky, we've been with them years. We pay short of £50 / month..thats for Sky+ (we cancelled the HD but you get ITV,BBC,Ch5 etc in HD anyway for free). We have multi room, unlimited broadband, line rental and calls and the tv we get everything bar the movies and sport (we watch our movies online anyways )
I've just this eve plugged the router up to the sky box to get on demand tv and iPlayers etc via the tv ...only just hehe

Re: Freeview/sky etc
We used to have Virgin but I found it was expensive and not much channel choice for what you pay . Also I was always losing signal and constantly phoning them to fix it. We now use Sky which I have had no problems with at all more choice and cheaper than Virgin
Re: Freeview/sky etc
Omg I could never pay £90+ a month for sky. We have sky phone and broadband but its only £22 a month.
I've had a look around and can get a recorder digi box in tesco for £79. Think this will be what I buy.
Think is. We only watch beebees during the day and go to bed at 9.30 so it would be a proper waste of money for anything else xx
