Lifes little issues some insight?

Right i shall be short and sweet about this.

I'm looking for a job and it seems my trade is only advertising in glasgow for surveyors and it's on the other side of the country. My question is. Do i apply for these jobs with the thought of moving back through west or do i not bother?

How much of a hassle is it for you to move? If that's where the jobs are then I'd probably apply and move to be honest

I'd need to get a council house or exchange so no idea how long it would take and i couldn't travel 58miles there and the same back as i'd be on the road for at least an hour and a half in traffic each way x

it's in the north but to travel from hamilton wouldn't be too far. Could kick him oot his hoose and pinch it pmsl x

You would get a house easy in Glasgow but will find it hard in the suburbs

Don't want a flat so would be harder then. Want a 3 bed house like i've got x

Have you looked into it? I would look into the housing before the job. I think homeswapper is good for that [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I think you can view but not apply unless you join it may be worth asking your landlord if they are registered then you get it free

you don't see the full ad. I've looked at loads of sites even on here. Nobody wants to move cross country is the problem x

you have to join to see the full add ... the only other thing I can suggest is coming through here for a day and going into the council offices and looking at the exchange lists

u can't access it online which is strange. Most councils have it on their own website x

Ours still use paper format so you have to go in and read pages of a home made book lol I know back in Watford it was on a computer database

My council and housing association is all online too x
