Spring clean Empty Spring clean

Post  Babymilly Fri Oct 05, 2012 7:31 pm

Decided (I know I'm a bit late) to spring clean my house today. Going to start by pulling covers off cushions on sofas and bung them in the washer. Just hope I can get them dry in time for tonight :-/

Do you want to come and do mine afterwards? Mine needs a good clean and I barely have time to keep on top of the normal housework (actually can't quite remember when I did that Embarassed )

I too love a spotless house, but it doesn't stay spotless for long with three kids, however I know for a fact when they all leave home it will be spotless and I'll be like somethings not right here, lets trash the floor lol

Omg pen I'm so with you on the not a natural house wife bit! I hate cleaning but I tolerate it, Unfortunatly with oh being off work I'm even less happy doing it because I'm the only one! We've had a massive argument about it this morning!
So here I am cleaning because I'm pissed off and don't wanna see his stupid face!!

And breathe! Hey atleast I have a home to clean Smile

i'm not a natural housewife at all.

i dont see the point with the kids and hubby to be honest lol.

but i have found if i love the house i'm in i make more of an effort lol.

i do most of it now, as before we used to share it, i'm wondering if that will change when i'm back at work...

I seem to keep on top of things, I tend to do an 'extra' job every time I hover two/three times a week, This week I wiped down the window sills and skirting boards in two rooms.

I've tried that. His not convinced Sad To be honest I've just accepted now that its impossible to work full time (we're out from 7 until at least 6) and keep on top of the cleaning. Especially when I have school work to do as well. It tends to be a choice of cleaning or spending some time with Jamie and he always wins
