Tablet thingymebobs

Have spotted one that i really want but was wondering folks opinions on it.
I have a laptop and a redundant pc and a blackberry. Is it worth buying one or am i just a technogeek who likes her toys?????

It depends what you want to use it for? They are different to laptops and computers because its not for word processing etc, the main thing ours gets used for is surfing the net and playing apps.
I only have an iPad to go by, but I like ours!
I brought my sister the kindle fire recently and she loves it, it has Internet and apps now not just the reading side.

This one does everything including word processing, apps, e-book, music etc x

What one is it?

The Ampe A10 deluxe tablet. It's £107 including case, keyboard and stylus x

The reviews for this are much better, I haven't looked around at finding better prices yet but this is what I plan to get the boys as a joint present

Yeah looked at that one but it doesn't have some of the features of the Ampe. I did a comparison and the flytouch came out second x

We find we use the iPad in bed for quick browsing, whereas I use it all day as its easy to log on

I bought one with my birthday money and have to say that I hardly ever use it

Yeah that was my worry bout it so decided against it for now. I am a gadget geek though so no doubt i'll want summit else lol x
