We are weaning :)
I've decided that lily is ready for food
She's very interested when we eat and had divebombed a couple of times for my food, the last few nights she's been waking for feeds which isn't like her so we are starting to wean!
This morning I gave her a finger of toast which she sucked to bits!! And seemed to really enjoy!
I just need to brush up on my blw, it's been so long I can't remember what to start with except toast lol

Yay lily! Exciting times!
Everything goes really. Making thick adult porridge and refriderating and cutting into lumps is a good breakfast one, or omelette cut into strips, or banana part peeled. Scrambly egg with tomato in to add sweetness
Sarnies good at lunch but toasted finger better at first as less sticky to roof of mouth, rice cakes with spreads on, again omelettes, fritattas, wedges of baked potato or sweet ptotato.
Dinner ideas, chunky veggies, good ones include broccoli, asparagus, carrot,. Pastas, twisty pastas best and with no sauce at first. Rice, make lives sticky and mould into small bowl, cut into pieces, easier to hold.
Just a few ideas, hope helps. Have today I totally forgot thing to try this time
Kind of went with a mixture this time. Still didn't really do purees but have done a mixture of spoonfeeding normal food and letting him also have a go at feeding himself at every meal. Has gone well, he eats well and seems to enjoy food, and doing some spoon feeding gives me the security he is eating enough.
Enjoy, as you already know, this a lotta fun!
