Rant...

I don't understand people that have "no money", are "so skint" yet they manage to spend ridiculous amounts on non essential things. No money to me literally means no money, therefore you can't afford to eat out, be at the pub most weekends, shop in expensive shops, go on holiday, have a pet etcetc. It really bugs me when people claim they're poor and put fb status' up to gain sympathy or constantly feel the need to tell you how hard up they are, yet not even a few days later buy a load of expensive clothes or splash out on a holiday/car/new tv etc. It really really pisses me off.
I save and save to have the little nice things in my life and i really try not to bore people with how much money I do/don't have, wish other people did the same.

Sorry if i just sound like a cow, i'm not in a good mood today and people are pissing me off

royal P's me off when ppl moan and moan about how they have no money for food and what not but they happily have sky/net/fags/alcohol/ branded clothes !!

Annoys me too. My mil always used to complain about how they barely had enough money to pay the mortgage yet went to the pub a couple of times a week. Mind you Adam often complains we have no money and what he really means is that we don't have as much as he wants. We could cut back in loads of areas if we had to

I wonder if it's a front? Like they are trying to feel better by exaggerating what they've brought or been given possibly?

I have zero money (for luxury's) but I was given money for my birthday, so I'm spending that on clothes that I need, from primark though lol, and on bits for the kids (at nearly new sale) and on a take away as a treat. Could it be similar circumstances?

Oh and I have decent jobs but we need to save for luxuries. I am amazed at the spare cash some people have. Maybe they make it up?

Yeah I find this a bit strange. The amount some people spend on pressies/clothes for their kids. There really is no need IMO.

OH is on a much better wage than he was a yr ago so we do have money for luxuries but i'm still so tight with what we spend out pennies on lol.
