6 week check...

so we had our 6 week check last week and the doc asked me if Miley had ever been breech! i said not that i know of but only had the usual 2 scans so i wouldn't have known anyway..he then said he's concerned because both sides of her hips are clicky. he said its more common when hip problems run in the family or if baby didn't have a lot of room to kick in the womb...well my niece has uneven hips and needs special things in her shoes and my sister also had trouble with her hips when younger..also i'm thinking Miley wouldn't have had a lot of room in my belly as she was so big and long!

anyway he's sending her for an ultrasound to see what exactly is going on as it might be nothing yet but they have to be cautious. has any one else been told this and if so what was the outcome? xxx

I had clicky hips as a baby and now am fine the only time I have trouble is in pregnancy when the muscles soften.
My parents use to put double nappies on me to keep my hips in place aparently lol.

I would try not to worry, it really could be either very mild or not at all do you know when she will have the scan?

My mw did say they would refer lily for one as well but I didn't hear anything, it was just because I've had history but the doctor hasn't shown any concern so I think she's ok.

he said i will get a letter in the next 2-3 weeks with an appointment..im sure its nothing just curious if any1 else had been told this.she seems fine and is already pushing herself up with her feet on me xxx

They like to do things quickly these days, because issues can be resolved early on without too much intervention

Got Miley's ultrasound appointment through for next tuesday so at least there getting it sorted quickly! hopefully everything will be normal :)xx
