Christmas traditions?
Do you guys have any traditions that you do every year?
Other than the obvious tree, dinner etc?
On the run up we always go to a massive garden centre which gets completly decked out in Christmas decks etc and buy any new decorations we need, we then head to Krispy Kreme for a yummy fresh donut and hot chocolate and then head home!
Another one is going into town to watch which ever silly celeb is switching the Christmas lights on, watch the fire works and have a bag of chips from the nicest choppy in the world!
I'm getting in the Christmas mood ATM and thought you guys should join me lol

Christmas Eve is
Graves to visit mo and fil,
Visit sil and drop presents
Then to my dads at 7-12 where we drink and have hot pork sarnies. This is a tradition going on 50plus years, was at my nans, then dad took it over and he's done it for 10yrs, but this yr we taking over :-)
Tree goes up first Saturday in December and thorntons advent calenders

Re: Christmas traditions?
I started the Christmas elf tradition last year it is so much fun and. Will definitely keep that up until they don't believe in Santa anymore.
We make gingerbread on Christmas Eve to put with santas drink and have new pjs and Christmas film before bed.
Will be watching the lights being switched on next week with my two :-)
I am so excited about December coming for my elf tradition to start!! I love Christmas!

Re: Christmas traditions?
We have a toy elf ... He is from Santa and he is sent to us to learn how to be good lol because he is a naughty elf... Some others say it is to keep an eye on kids but I found that a bit creepy tbh... Anyways he comes on dec 1st and leaves on Christmas Eve to help Santa deliver presents ... He will arrive with the advent calendars on 1st and he will be sleeping in the tree this year then on 2nd he will leave a letter saying how uncomfy it was and can we make him a bed ... He will do nice things like leaving it tickets for Santa and naughty thigsn like hanging pants on the Xmas tree and making snow angels out of flour lol
It is good fun and I understand people will think it slightly odd but the kids enjoyed it last year and it makes Christmas last all of December rather than just one day

That sounds brilliant!! I wish I had a good imagination but I'm useless and wouldn't know what to do for 24 days lol
