Pushchairs Empty Pushchairs

Post  libertytmk Wed Sep 19, 2012 7:22 pm

When did you stop using one? Jamie sometimes only wants to walk but other times wants to go in the pushchair or be carried. We've been quite lazy about forcing him to walk rather than using it really because of the convenience so we'll have to start

I'd say 2.5/3 before getting rid of it completely. Rich was about 4 though because he was a pest and never walked anywhere, just ran off lol

Soph started walking without pushchair on short trips just before joshy was born and really only now because she doesnt have the option! But she def wasnt ready before. Even now she still needs to be in the pram some of the time, partic if going somewhere further so i have a system of Joshy in pram on way, then converting to pushchair on way back with Joshy in the sling and sophs in the pushchair.

Charlie hasn't been in a pram for about 10 months maybe longer! He can walk for fairly long periods so haven't needed it at all.

Immi's not had one for about 4months now, although she uses the buggy board a bit still (mostly when knackered after preschool) I had a double before that. She probs could have walked all the time earlier but it made my life easier that she didn't as she has a tendency to run too far ahead. Her little friends were the same sort of age 2.5/3 when they stopped using the pushchair.

Caleb walks most places but as Ava is still in the pram when we go for long periods I take the phil and teds and if Caleb gets tired put him in the spare seat ...
