Awkward!

My 15 year old, paul has asked if his girlfriend can come round tonight. He's been going out with her for over a year and according to my nieces she's a lovely girl.

I said of course she can come round and I'll tidy the frontroom up for you. Anyway he laughed at me and said they're sitting in his room!!

I don't know what to think.

His room is nice and he has a nice telly etc so do you think it's just to watch telly??

She's only staying til 9pm as she has to be home fit 9.30.

No way are they watching telly! At that age i was getting to 3rd base mostly and most of my friends were having sex


and yes that would be whilst my family or his family if we were at Matts was downstairs.

Maybe tell him to keep the door open? I wouldn't have been happy sitting in the living room watching at that age. I lost my virginity at 14. I never did anything under my parents roof though x

Set the rule door has to stay open. Perhaps have a gentle word that you will respect them if they respect you

We still did it with the door open at Matts house lol. If they are going to do something then they are going to do something, my Mum took the philosophy that rather it be safe at home than in a field somewhere, she let us do what we wanted.

I'd say they can go upstairs with the door open. I'd also set some ground rules. Me and Adam used to sleep in the same bed at his Mum's but I wouldn't even have asked that at mine because I knew Mum and Dad would have been unhappy

Ive agreed to them sitting in his room. He's generally a good kid and she's apparently a nice girl. He's just gone to meet her then he's going to introduce her to us.

Im not going to think about they get up to as after all they've been going out with each other for a while and I'm sur if they're going to do things then they will whether it's at the park, in a field, in My frontroom or in his room.

Ok so they sat in his room and at 9.30 they came down and came into the living room to say that jade was going and he was waking her home. She's absolutey beautiful (but very shy) and mark and I thought she was lovely (but wondered what was doing with paul) lol.

So all in all my worrying wasn't worth it (or at least I don't think it was)

Wouldn't do that tams!!BUT I did bounce noisily up the stairs 3 times for a pee (despite having a downstairs loo)

Lol. When I was at Adam's his younger brother (he was 5 years younger and Adam was 19 but had nf so seemed even more so) kept coming up to see us so I suspect he was sent. He once found us in the dark (although we weren't actually doing anything) and when he asked why Adam told him we were saving electricity

I was very well behaved at 15. Really I was! I was a church kid and had barely started kissing at that point. I would have been petrified of doing anything at home with Mum around as well

No, In all honesty..my mum was like Shell's parents and she was always quite open with me, she'd rather me be somewhere safe than not, and I always had more respect because of it and was always much more open with her too

Just realsied that after proclaiming earlier that I was a good girls and never got up to any shenanigans in my parents house that bothe Olllie and Amelia were conceived on their sofa
