I'm not looking forward to going through this with my two, especially as they're so close in age - if their attitude to girls is anything like their attitude to toys (stealing each others) it's going to be crazy

Obviously I have just seen this post, as I went to bed last night! I hope everything went ok....

Personally I would of told them they could of had the living room to spend time with one another, especially as it was the first time I would of met this girl....Then after say half an hour I would of hinted they could and watch TV upstairs, would of popped in about 20mins after offering them a drink and a snack! (ie to keep an eye out etc lol)

Also I know you have probably done this already, but have you started a discussion about the birds n the bee's? Tell him what you think of the situation (be truthful,) I agree with the girls yes it's probably better to do it in the home and not in a field etc or a back lane ( Not that I approve of them having sex at that age (that's just me)) but make a point to your son that either yourself or your hubby are around to talk about any questions he may have about sex, contraception etc!
