Today I am thankful for .....

I thought it would be nice to look back through each day and say what we are greatful for from that day! Could help to put your day into perspective if your feeling low or to put a big smile on your face and remind you how lucky you are!!!

I'll go first

Today I am so greatful for friend generosity!!! After receiving a massive bin bag full of clothes for Lily ranging from now to a year old

I am also thankful for the quality time I had with Charlie playing at the park and on the field next to our house playing with tennis ball and rackets!

I'm thankful for an hours cuddle with T she always settles just in her crib, so not held Her sleeping a lot but tonight I got an hour of sleepy cuddles.

Also thanks to Pixar for making monsters inc, my little boy loves it, but always comes for hugs when he's scared, now that's a moms job making the scarey ok :-)

Today I am grateful for my Cousin finding us after 60 years so that my mum and her brother could be reunited he is 76 now and mum is 67 so they finally get to see what time they have left with each other

Today i am thankful for a nice cup of coffee and 2 digestives

Thankful for having my own little house, and a beautiful daughter who always makes me smile

I am thankful for my fiance Alan, who is also my best friend, who took on my kids 3 years ago, helped me bring into the world another man's baby as his own and helped me through difficult times when I was at my lowest point in my life! He treated me with respect, love and gave me the confidence to be a better person and mum.

I am also thankful for every day that our son Jayden Kye is here, when he was born he wasn't feeding at all, was very lethargic, no wet/dirty nappies nothing and when the midwife came out she just told us he was a lazy baby that he would feed, two days later he was rushed into a special care baby unit as he had meningitis and a rsv b positive virus and if it hadn't of been for my fiance Alan's quick thinking he wouldn't be here now, and about to celebrate his first birthday in a few weeks!

Ok so today I am thankful for meeting new people and getting out of my comfort zone, I went to a mum and toddler group with Lily and Charlie, Charlie had a great time and so did I

I also greatful for music that puts a smile on my face and takes me back to my carefree teenage years! I must remember it has that effect and use it more often in times of stress!

Today I am greatful that my oh cleaned the kitchen, sad but true lol

I am also greatful for the sun which helped me get loads of washing dry! For the roof over our heads! For food in the fridge/freezer and cupboards!

Also for lily gripping hold of my finger for the first time while feeding her! She gave me a big grin as well

It lasted all of 5 mins, barely dipped my bum in the bath and Andrew comes running in, mammy i need a poo! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Jayden was asleep in his pram and Andrew was quietly watching Mickey Mouse, my bath room is downstairs so it's not like I left him downstairs on his own!

Today I am greatful for the hour of peace I had while oh and Charlie went into town and Lily slept!
I am also extremely thankful that me and my friend are in contact again!! And that her sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl!!

Today I am greatful for the generosity of strangers, my nan has been given clothes for Lily by one of the consultants at the hospital that she volunteers at.
For the sale of the motorbike going through which will pay off one of my debts and help us to pay bills for another month.
For simple pleasures that make my children happy! Like me playing foot ball with them! And half hour in a park!!
For a happy and content baby who is a joy to all who meet her! And for the lovely meal we had this evening!

And very thankful that I actually read this thread as its lovely to read what everyone's thankful for. It is nice to have something to be thankful for isn't it?

Yep it is! It's also nice to read back and see what made you smile on other days!
Makes me think about the positives rather than dwelling on negatives

I am thankful for my bed, it doesn't ask questions or annoy me

Oops forgot to do this yesterday, hmmm yesterday was good because we were given clothes for the Tommys from oh's nephew, takes the pressure off once again which is awesome!!
I also spent time with new mummy friends and am meeting up with them again in the week, I like this whole sociable mum thing I didn't do it with Charlie as was too shy! Not too shy anymore tho lol!

I am thankful for the huge smiles my babies put on my face by doing the simplist of things!
And so greatful that my oh's interview seemed to go well

Lol this is my own personal thread it seems!

Well today I greatful that 2lbs of fat melted from my body this past week! And for spending time with my cousin and her little boy! I love spending time with my family!

oops yesterday i was thankful for adult conversation! Shopping and fun times with my kids!

Today I'm thankful for my friend visiting and driving me to the local mall for coffee and a walk around the shops. First time out in a week.

Oh wow I would go mad in the house that long!! I've been to two toddler and baby groups and a netmums meet as well as visit family this week lol

I'm thankful on my iPad that doesn't moan at me when I get it wrong

Today I'm thankful for my Dad he always makes me feel better when I see him! And after being really pissed off this morning about cleaning, I'm glad I did it and like my nice clean house!
