My Gran put brandy on the xmas pud one year and lit it .... her eye brows were non existent after that Rolling Eyes

Dee, with a table cloth for Xmas, I'd use a plain on then do Xmas border and napkins to match :-)

We have a black table cloth and I just use red napkins and table glitter to give impression of Xmas :-)
And going to get some silver ones when we start having friends over for dinner parties (curry night) lol

we're going away for Christmas and I think we're eating christmas dinner at a hotel... I normally do a soup for starter (last year was carrot coconut and coriander) OH does the roast, chicken with the usual trimmings, and then for pudding I make a cake. not a christmas cake just a sponge cake, last year was white chocolate cake with white chocolate icing decorated like a christmas tree Very Happy

That does sound yummy. So does Jade's white chocolate christmas cake. I don't like normal christmas cake but that sounds like something I could eat

I never make a real Christmas cake I don't like it so just make any old flavour cake Smile

I might try a caramel type one for our second Christmas when we get back with little snowmen figures on it lol.
